Deputy Minister of Creative Economy, Irene Umar, attends the launch of the biography “Jejak Langkah Satya Widya Yudha Pengabdian Tanpa Batas” at Senayan Park, Jakarta, Friday (10/4/2026).

The event, organized by the Listrik Indonesia Forum, was part of a discussion titled Indonesia Energy Outlook in the Midst of Global Politics Dynamics, which addressed efforts to strengthen national energy resilience amid global developments.

“We appreciate the launch of this book. Amid global energy challenges, Mr. Satya Widya Yudha’s dedication serves as a much-needed moral and intellectual compass. Energy resilience and the creative economy are two pillars that mutually support the stability of the nation,” said Deputy Minister of Creative Economy.

The Deputy Minister of Creative Economy added that the life journey of national figures such as Satya Widya Yudha in strategic sectors represents valuable intellectual property (IP). His journey has the potential to be adapted into various creative subsectors, such as film or educational digital content, to strengthen the creative economy ecosystem.

Meanwhile, Satya Widya Yudha said that the book documents his journey in the energy sector across the eras of seven presidents and his work with eleven Ministers of Energy and Mineral Resources. It covers his career journey from working as an oil and gas professional at a multinational company, serving as a legislator, to holding a position at the National Energy Council (DEN).

“Sharing knowledge is a path to immortality. Through this book, I want to pass on records of important events in the history of national energy, including the struggle to develop Tangguh LNG in Papua, so that they can serve as valuable literacy for future generations,” said Satya Widya Yudha at the launch of his book.

The Deputy Minister of Creative Economy hopes that this momentum will encourage Indonesian writers and publishers to be more productive in documenting the profiles of national figures to enrich quality literature. This is expected to contribute to the advancement of the book ecosystem and drive nationally sustainable economic growth through energy resilience and creativity, through concrete action under the #KitaMulaiCaraBaru movement.

Also attending the event were Minister of Environment Hanif Faisol Nurofiq; Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Bahlil Lahadalia; Minister of Population and Family Development Wihaji; Minister of the Protection of Indonesian Migrant Workers Muktarudin; and Minister of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises Maman Abdurrahman.
